Getting Started With Adsense Is Simple

A very important factor in the rapid adoption of AdSense is that it was very easy for publishers to get ads on their site as quickly as possible.

Integrating AdSense on your site only takes a few minutes, and you could be on the road with one or more well-integrated AdSense ads.

The first thing you need to do is go to http://www.google.com/adsense and either apply or log in to your account and password. Here is a page that presents the terms and conditions of Google AdSense you must accept to proceed.

You'll be presented with a report page that you can use to get detailed status on how your AdSense ads are doing. This can improve site content and layout to maximize your AdSense earnings.

At the top of the page, you also have a link to the configuration in which you can generate the code to be inserted in your site for AdSense banner on your page.

You can use AdSense for text (in words), use the search box or with referrals. Your choice between these options depends on how users navigate your site.

Finally, there is the 'Accounts' tab, which allows you to manage your account information, payment and tax information.

To add a text ad on your site, return to the "AdSense Setup" and click on the link "AdSense for content". Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.

You can make a choice between ad units and link units. Contain text and or images concerning a certain site for the former each unit, most with detailed explanations, the latter only contain links to certain types.

Of course, it is rather difficult to know which type you have to use so you have to experiment with both for a while 'before deciding.

You can also see an example of how the units look to the right of the page. However, you can only use three ad units and one link unit on a particular page. It is believed to be a step which Google takes for quality control.

The next step is to choose the format and add color. In practice, you can choose the color palette you choose with Google offering some of your own if you do not have the time or expertise to create one. You can always see how the palette will look with the help of examples. What works best in terms of appearance and revenues will vary with the feel, look and content of a website.

However, your ad formats are limited to a choice of eleven formats. There is an "Ad Formats" link that takes you to a page that lets you see all this in action so you can decide which one suits your site. Sometimes the most intrusive, does not work, however, better yet, this can vary from site to site.

After you finish with customization, you can click "Continue" at the bottom of the page.

Now comes with a section entitled "AdSense for content". You can click anywhere in the text and showing JavaScript is required to run AdSense. This will automatically select the text in the box.

You can then copy and paste into your pages directly. If you use dynamic pages, you should put this code in your template so as to ensure that it will be displayed on every page of your website. Some advertisers choose not to display Adsense on every page, and this is understandable. An example of this is a company that has adsense, may also have terms and conditions which will inevitably provide legal resources that may be considered inappropriate.

What then remains for you to do is get content on the page (if you have not already). Google AdSense crawlers will soon visit your site, make sure that the ads displayed are relevant to the content of your site.

And it's all done. For a simple page this should really matter of minutes, which is precisely what makes AdSense the choice for so many people. Despite the rapid, mass appeal is also the best. Through the most popular, advertisers and publishers together to see Adsense and Adwords as a natural choice for first.
